Our Vision for this Association:
In a world marked by diverse challenges, remarkable initiatives of commitment sometimes emerge. The recently established association “Pamoja Children’s Surgery for Tanzania e.V.” is one such example. Born from a simple idea and a strong determination, its goal is to improve medical care for children in Tanzania.
The history of the association’s creation is characterized by practical involvement. The founders, doctors with a strong sense of responsibility, personally performed surgeries on children in Tanzania at their own expense. These experiences revealed the need for sustainable change. Thus, the association was founded with the aim of supporting medical education on-site.
The mission of the association is clearly defined: to train local doctors and operating room nursing staff in pediatric surgery. Targeted programs are designed to strengthen medical expertise, ensuring that children in Tanzania receive appropriate medical care. It is a forward-looking perspective aimed at sustainably strengthening the local healthcare system.
To effectively implement this initiative, the association relies on donations. Every contribution goes directly toward training doctors, procuring medical equipment, and financing necessary surgeries. Together, we can shape a future in which children in Tanzania have the opportunity for better medical care.
The goals of the association extend beyond geographical boundaries. There are plans to bring talented doctors and related operating room nursing staff from Tanzania to Germany to expand their competencies. This knowledge exchange contributes to broadening medical expertise while creating a cultural connection.
